Description: A group of Indigenous Brazilian woman, called ‘Amazons’ by the author, fight against a group of Indigenous Brazilian men who attack from the water. The women fight with bows and arrows, spears and shields, while the men in canoes use bows and arrows and clubs. The women are unadorned with their hair worn unbound. Some of the men wear feathered headdresses.
