Description: Four Indigenous women prepare an alcoholic beverage. The woman in the middle sits on the ground while she chews on the corn or grain used to make the alcohol and spits it into a bowl beside her. Two women on the left strain the saliva mixture into a large pot using a cloth. On the right, another woman pours the strained liquid into a pot over a fire to boil. This image is identical to one found on page 58 verso of Venice, 1565.
