Because her husband became a member of the plebeian class when he was no longer a consul, Verginia was cast out of a temple consecrated to Patricia Pudicitia by noble women. Verginia is famous for having created her own temple for the plebeian women called the Plebeia Pudicitia. This illumination depicts Verginia kneeling with her hands in prayer as she prays in her temple.
