He is wearing royal garbs with a crown on his head. He is depicted holding his hands out towards Nicaula as he accepts her gift and welcomes her with hospitality. Queen Nicaula had traveled from Ethiopia to Jerusalem simply to speak with him as she had heard many things of his great intellect.
