Description: Here we see Gulliver's introduction to the Houyhnhnms who took Gulliver in. The Gray horse who found Gulliver brought him to an authority of the Houyhnhnms. He introduced Gulliver to a mare with a colt and foal, sitting on mats woven out of straw. The same image appears in both the 1839 and 1843 Krabbe editions.
