Hortensia inherited the gift of oration from her father, and when the triumvirs raised taxes unbearably high, she spoke so eloquently to them that they revoked the taxes. The triumvirs have pleasantly surprised looks on their faces as they are impressed with Hortensia’s abilities. Hortensia appears to look confident as she speaks to them.
