The Duke (left) sits upon a regal chair with a tall backing, his legs crossed and his left harm extended amiably, with his right arm hanging comfortably on an armrest, his black cape draped behind him. Upon his neck he wears a golden medallion of sorts. In the background on the right there is a portrait of someone.
