A page on the left of the donkey holds two hunting dogs on a leash, followed on foot by many more hunters with spears and dogs by their feet on either side and behind the donkey. In the background, Don Quixote clad in full armor and equipped with a spear rides a horse to the left of the duchess and the duke, who are also mounted on steeds.
