Description: Having fallen into a hole with his Donkey, Sancho Panza cries out for help. By chance Don Quixote is riding through the forest the following morning, and chanced to approach so near the brink of the hole, that, had he not drawn the reins in suddenly and strongly, he would have fallen in with Sancho. Having escaped the danger, he advanced a little nearer, and, as he was looking down, he heard the voice of his squire from below. Clad in full armor, Don Quixote looks down upon Sancho Panza atop Rocinante with lance in hand.
