Description: After assuming the form of a bull in order to approach Europa, Jupiter gains her trust through this disguise. She is soon convinced that the bull means no harm, and she sits on his back. Jupiter gradually moves closer to the shoreline, eventually entering the water. He then swims to Crete with her on his back (as seen in this illustration).
