After knocking Alonso López and his mule to the ground, Don Quixote holds his lance to his throat and interrogates him. Sancho Panza observes him, holding a chicken he found on a pack mule. The scene is lit by a fallen torch. In the background, the other priests flee into the fields. Signed by F. Hayman (illustrator) and S. F. Ravenet (engraver). Part 1, ch. 19.
