Section 4-18 Streets Naming Requirements
Street names shall be sufficiently different in sound and in spelling from other street names in the
city so as not to cause confusion. Streets which exist or are planned as a continuation of an existing
street shall bear the same name. Street names shall be assigned by Development Services staff in
order to allow for a consistent street naming system in the interests of public safety. The subdivider
may propose street names, and where possible, they may be incorporated.
